Enforcement of Judgments

Winning a court order is only half the battle. We specialise in actually collecting what you are owed — whether that means seizing assets, arranging wage deductions, or selling property.

How a judgment is enforced

Why judgments go uncollected

Most unenforced judgments fail for practical reasons rather than legal ones — the debtor has moved, or nobody knows what they own. Because tracing and recovery sit alongside enforcement here, those obstacles are part of the same job rather than reasons to close the file.

Where we operate

Robuk has operated since 2003 and works through a network of agents across New Zealand, so instructions are not limited to the main centres. Since 2025 Robuk has been part of Tony Lowe Investigations, which widens the resources available to each file. Instructions can be given from anywhere in the country, and we will tell you at the outset what is realistic for the location involved.

Common questions

I have judgment but still no payment — what now?

The first step is establishing where the debtor is and what they actually hold. The right enforcement mechanism follows from that, rather than the other way round.

What enforcement options are available?

Depending on circumstances: seizure and sale of goods, an attachment order against wages, a charging order over property, or a financial examination of the debtor.

What if the debtor has disappeared?

Most unenforced judgments fail for practical reasons rather than legal ones. Tracing is part of the same service here, so a missing debtor does not end the matter.
